Clocking out
A TPAS account with a gate role that an administrator has assigned to a gate (Adding a user). The app has no gate picker: it works at the gate your account is assigned to, and nowhere else.
Clocking out works the same way, from Clock out on the home screen: the pill reads CLOCK OUT, and the send button becomes Exit · n people.
The difference is the list. For a vehicle that brought people in, the session opens with Still inside — everyone who entered the park in this vehicle and has not yet left, each with the time they clocked in.
The Clocked in time is TPAS's own clock, shown without converting it to Uganda time, so for now it reads three hours behind the phone: Clocked in 08:55 is a crossing made at 11:55. Go by the order of events, not the hour.
Add each badge as the people come through. Their row turns to Read, and anybody you add who is not on the list appears under Also read.
In the picture the same person, Isaax Dudu, appears twice: ticked Read under Still inside, and again under Also read. For now, that happens to everyone on Still inside who is not a booked visitor. It is one person, sent once — the button still reads Exit · 1 people — so nothing needs doing about it. (Here the receipt then counts them as extra, because they work for CNOOC and the vehicle belongs to SmartWatch Miners.)
Exit follows the same rules as Send — at least one person and nobody refused — and the receipt reads Exit recorded.
The same summary line also slides up briefly at the bottom of the screen, as confirmation. Done returns you to Identify vehicle, still on CLOCK OUT, for the next vehicle leaving.
The app does not insist that every name on Still inside is read before the exit is sent. People who have not left stay inside the park in TPAS, and will be listed again the next time the vehicle clocks out. Make sure that is true before you send: a person who did leave, but was not read, will stay inside in TPAS — and cannot be clocked in again until an exit is recorded for them.
